Mr. Big Has A Baby Boy

Is there some kind of baby boom going on?  Now we feel left out.  (Of course not when we're having pomegranate martinis).

Mr. Big may be with Carrie on Sex And The City, but in real life, Chris Noth's girlfriend Tara Wilson just gave birth to his baby boy.  Noth, 53, and Wilson welcomed Orion Christopher Noth into the world on Friday in L.A., and Orion weighed in at 7 lbs., 10 oz.

Noth's rep told People, "I am happy to confirm that Chris Noth and Tara Wilson are the proud parents of a happy and healthy baby boy...Chris and Tara are thrilled and all are doing well."

Along with his new bundle of joy, Noth is looking forward to the upcoming presidential elections.  He has said he supports Barack Obama so far, but would like to hear all of the candidates talk more about global warming.

"They're all diverted by wars in foreign countries," Noth has said.  "The real war is going to be when nature decided they've had enough.  I don't think any of them are acting with the kind of immediacy that's needed."

He also mentioned in November of 2007 that he believes the Bush administration "has probably been the biggest tragedy in the history of the United States."

Hey, looks like Orion may have a smart daddy!
