What
Clinton, Huckabee,
McCain, Obama, And
Paul Are Up To
Saturday, February 16th,
2008

Republican candidate and former Governor
of Arkansas Mike Huckabee - who, like running mate Ron
Paul has received far less media coverage than his competitors and still
has to continuously shoot down false statements in the press that he's
quitting - is off to the Cayman Islands this weekend to speak at the
Young Caymanian Leadership Awards Banquet. He's the only one of
the candidates (Republican and Democratic) who's campaign trail events
are not available on his site, although you can view a list of his meetup
groups' activities.

Republican candidate Senator John
McCain is taking it a little slower (though, who needs to move
fast when the mass media's got you overcovered?). He was at the Wisconsin Reagan
Day Dinner in Milwaukee last night, but only has one other
scheduled event coming up, according to his website. On Feb. 19th, he'll be holding a press conference with
Former President George H. W. Bush. His most recent press release is regarding his appearance on
CNN's Larry King Live (shock, shock) regarding the "Democrats' Failure To Act
On FISA."
 Republican candidate and Congressman
Ron Paul, still gaining momentum with no plans to
quit, is making the rounds in Texas: he will be at the
University of North Texas in Denton on
Feb.
18th, Vive Les Arts Theatre in Killeen, TX on Feb.
23rd, and at the MSNBC Presidential Summit in Houston, TX on Feb. 28th
(think they'll let him talk?). Meanwhile, his camp released an
update on Thursday announcing that the top three
contributors to his presidential campaign thusfar are from the U.S.
Army, the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Air Force. He's also proposed a
March On Washington for all of his
supporters.

Democratic candidate Senator
Hillary Clinton was just in our home state of Ohio (no,
we did not go), and her latest press release mentions the Buckeye state in a plan that
hopes to address credit card abuses, promote fair lending, and expand
access to fair credit in Ohio. She's headed to Wisconsin on
Tuesday.

Democratic candidate Barack
Obama took a mini-break from campaigning for Valentine's Day,
but this weekend he's in Milwaukee, Wisconsin doing rallies, and where
he attended a tour of the Janesville General Motors
Assembly plant earlier in the week. Then he'll bounce way over to Youngstown,
Ohio on Monday for a "Keeping America's Promise" rally.
