In Memory Of Pfc. Byron J. Fouty

The Department of Defense (DOD) has confirmed the death of Pfc. Byron J. Fouty
of Waterford, Michigan. Pfc. Fouty was listed as "Missing-Captured" while supporting Operation Iraqi
Freedom. He was part of the patrol with Sgt. Alex R. Jiminez
that was ambushed by enemy forces south of Baghdad on May 12th, 2007.
They were assigned to the 4th
Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) out of
Ford Drum, New York.
The incident is still under investigation. Please keep both Pfc. Pouty's and
Sgt. Jiminez's family, friends, and fellow soldiers in your thoughts and prayers.
