Pfc. Bryan R. Thomas of Battle Creek, Michigan was killed on September 4th in
Baghdad, Iraq from wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device (IED).
He was 22 years old.
Pfc. Thomas was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st
Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division out of Fort Hood, Texas.
Bryan was an animal lover
who worked with the Michigan Humane Society, and also a skilled photographer. He leaves behind a mother,
grandfather, and step-grandmother. Please keep his family, friends, and fellow soldiers in your thoughts
and prayers.
