Make Them Make Breast Cancer A Priority
Thursday, October 2nd, 2008 by Connie T.

Health care is an issue that's close to home for millions of Americans, and
yet it's now seeming to take a back burner to the hot button issue of the economy that has
reached a startling heat in the past several weeks.
Being that it's breast cancer
awareness month, we're hoping there will at least be a mention of the issue during tonight's
Vice
Presidential debate.
The Susan G. Komen Foundation is sponsoring a petition
that asks the candidates to help come up with a plan to make sure every woman in America,
regardless of her income, has access to the life-saving early detection that's so vital
in fighting breast cancer. Do you agree? If so, keep reading!

Ask our candidates
to make breast cancer a priority in their campaigns. In 2007 alone, 40,000 women and 450 men
will die from breast cancer; these are numbers we can change.
