Bill
Clinton Told Hillary To Dump
Him
Tuesday, December
11th, 2007

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton was on the Iowa campaign trail
for wife Hillary Clinton yesterday, and he told the crowd that Hillary
impressed him so much when they were first dating, that he tried to
convince her she should break up with him and focus on her political
ambitions.
But...but...then there would have been no
Chelsea! Or Socks! (I wonder if Socks is still alive, by the
way...) Look at how pretty and distinguished-looking Chelsea has
gotten:

 Three generations of Hillary's.
Hillary is "the most gifted person" he'd ever met, Bill said, and he
felt it "would be wrong for me to rob her of the chance to be what I
thought she should be." Awww...that's actually really sweet!
He's a slick one, that Bill.
"You know, you should really dump
me, and go back home to Chicago or go to New York and take one of those
offers you've got and run for office," Bill said he told
her.
"She laughed at me, and said, 'First I love you, and second,
I'm not going to run for anything, I'm too hardheaded,'" he
said.
He praised Hillary's past and present fight for health care
reform: "I asked her [during my presidency] to do the hardest
thing of all: health care. And we got whipped. When
she got beat, she did what she's always done...she didn't fold her
tent."
I don't know why, but I love Bill and Hillary
stories.
