SUM 41 is currently on a
Canadian tour
that begin March 7th, and will separate lead
singer/guitarist Deryck Whibley from 23-year-old
wife and pop rock singer Avril Lavigne. The
two hung out at the Tattoo Rock Parlour in Toronto last night for the
official Sum 41 afterparty, following the band's concert at Kool
Haus. Avril is jetting off to Atlantic City, New Jersey today as
part of her US tour, called "Best Damn
Tour" after her 2007 album, The Best Damn Thing.
Love that dress!! I want it!
Although, gotta say, I'm getting really sick of that pink streak on the
side of her head. Every time I see it, it reminds me of combing the
pink hair out of Jem's blonde hair, and hiding it underneath in a bun to
make her Jerrica. Which then reminds me of trying to take out the
giant star earrings Jem had on, and finding out that Jem was no
Barbie...those star earrings were connected by a plastic pole that ran
right through the center of Jem's empty rubber head and connected
to the earring on the other side like a barbell. The doll should have
been called "Jen impaled by her magical earrings." She was supposed
to be versatile, people!
Jem's hand was also locked
in a permanent microphone-grip position so that Jerrica had to show up to
her meetings with my dolls looking like she was about to claw
somebody. And if you're not a child of the 80's who owned a Jem doll
you have no idea what I was just talking about. And even if you are,
I still sound nuts :-)
