Staff Sgt. Anthony L. Mason died on September 18th in Tallil, Iraq, when
the CH-47 Chinook helicopter he was in crashed. Seven other soldiers were killed in the accident. Anthony
was 37 years old.
Sgt. Mason, from Springtown, Texas, was assigned to the 2nd Battalion,
149th Aviation, 36th Combat Aviation Brigade, Oklahoma National Guard out of Lexington, Oklahoma.
