Angelina Jolie, on the set of
the Clint Eastwood drama "The Changeling," which is currently
being filmed and will be released in 2008. Doesn't look like 2008,
though, does it? That's because the film is based on a true story
of a woman whose son went missing during the 1920's in Los
Angeles. Oh, it gets better. The woman was sent to an insane
asylum for disagreeing with the Los Angeles Police Department
(LAPD): she believed they had given her the wrong boy. The
truth uncovers a city-wide corruption scandal.
She looks so flawlessly Laura Bow - but I
still wrinkle my nose when I see fur coats. I know, it was the
1920's, but I can't help it! We now know, by the way, that Donald
Trump is officially effed up: in his most recent public rant, he
told Larry King that he is unimpressed with George Clooney and Angelina
Jolie, two of the top Hollywood heart-throbs.
"One of the perceptions I had of George
Clooney was he was this big, strong guy. And he was very little
when I met him." He said of Ange, "Angelina Jolie is sort of
amazing because everyone thinks she's like this great beauty. And
I'm not saying she's an unattractive woman, but she's not beauty - by
any stretch of the imagination. I really understand beauty.
And I will tell you, she's not - I do own Miss Universe. I do own
Miss USA. I mean, I own a lot of different things. I do
understand beauty, and she's not."
F*ck off, Donald! You can purchase
whatever you want; it doesn't make you the authority on
anything, least of that being the true meaning of beauty.
Your idea of beauty is plastic, store-bought, and scandalous.
Argh! With all of the bad media we see today, at least Clooney and
Jolie have it together; they are also two of the most generous people in
Hollywood. Their charities, and the serious global causes that
they dedicate their time to (instead of blowing smoke in the media for
attention) are something that America looks up to. Beauty inside
and out. Perhaps you are scrutinizing their outward appearances -
although many could argue in favor of that as well - I pity you.
You're a sad, sad puppet. If there were more politicans (or
any, for that matter) that people could look up to today, maybe
celebrities wouldn't be all people had to idolize. Who would you
prefer people look up to, Miss Teen South Carolina, who your money
owns? Or perhaps Miss Teen USA, whom you made such a
chauvenistic fuss over pardoning? Or maybe the former Miss Nevada (that link is some old-school ConnieTalk,
right there).
