Too much press in America? Take a break and do a
Russian magazine! That's what these celebs have done.
Paris Hilton was named the #1 most Overexposed celebrity
in March, according to a poll by E-Poll Market Research that was published
in Forbes Magazine. According to the
poll, which asked Americans for rankings of over 3,000 celebrities,
70% of the US population surveyed used "overexposed" to
describe Miss Hilton. Meaning...we've had enough! So
this month, Paris Hilton did the cover of Russia's GQ Magazine
and an inside spread.
Following suit is actress Eva
Longoria, who did this month's InStyle magazine cover
for the Russian edition. She didn't make the Forbes list
for being overexposed, but interest in Tony Parker's leading lady seems to
be less than lukewarm in the States these days.

And then there's Kylie Minogue - who
released her 10th studio album X in the US last month. Even
though the album was very heavily promoted, including an appearance on
ABC's Dancing With The Stars, it was a commercial failure in the
US and didn't even make it to the Top 100 on albums charts (it came in at
#139).
What else to these three ladies have in common? They
have all made PETA's Worst Dressed List! Eva Longoria and Kylie
Minogue were both on PETA's Worst Dressed of 2008 - Eva was dubbed the "the
street walker of Wisteria Lane" by PETA for wearing "trashy furs," and
Kylie was called "cold-blooded" for clutching skinned reptiles as
accessories. Paris Hilton topped PETA's Worst Dressed List in 2005, but has since claimed to have ditched her furgly
ways.
Maybe the three should get together and do an "I'd Rather Go
Naked Than Wear Fur" ad a la Eva
Mendes. That would garner some positive
press, right?
