Alanis Morissette Releasing CD And Memoir
Thursday, May 29th, 2008

You know you love Alanis Morissette! And guess what? There's plenty
of new Alanis stuff on the way! Alanis is releasing a brand new CD - a Limited Edition of
"Flavors of Entanglement" - which will be available internationally on June 2nd, and in the
U.S. on June 10th. Not only that, but there's a memoir in the works!
The Limited
Edition CD contains 11 regular tracks: Citizen of the Planet, Underneath, Straitjacket,
Versions of Violence, Not As We, In Praise of the Vulnerable Man, Moratorium, Torch,
Giggling Again for No Reason, Tapes, and Incomplete.
Additionally, there are 5 Bonus
Tracks (remember that awesome "Forgive Me Love" bonus track back in the day?): Orchid, The
Guy Who Leaves, Madness, Limbo No More, and On The Tequila. The CD is a little pricey; it's
$29.99 for pre-order on alanis.com. But,
hey, it's Alanis, people!
Ms. Morissette is also halfway through
writing a memoir that will focus on women's issues. It contains issues of sexuality,
beauty, relationships, work, and music, and was inspired by stories of many young women
who have shared stories of personal pain with Alanis over the years.
Totally looking
forward to it!
