Aguilera Bares Baby Bump Beautifully

You know how entertainers love to bare their baby bumps?  Well, Christina Aguilera is the newest.  She's on the cover and in a spread for Marie Claire magazine, in various states of artistic undress.  Britney Spears was nude in her her preggers photo shoot for Harpers Bazaar in June of 2006 - in fact, Britney was technically wearing more in most shots, if you count the jewelry - but Christina's give much more of a refined yet celebratory vibe  Check out the difference:

Looking like she's ready to make a baby, not have one...

Yeah, okay, maybe those two were kinda similar.

"We were planning on starting to try after the tour," Christina said, referring to her Back to Basics tour which ended recently.  "And so I had gone off the pill to prepare my body, because I didn't know how much time it would take...You've heard it takes some time - except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here...I'm like, 'Oh my God, can you believe it just happened?'"

And she was worried - "There are so many things that could go wrong - somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall...There was no way...I was going to jeopardize my baby for the show."  Luckily, there weren't any mishaps, and Christina wore a hidden heart monitor during her performances to ensure that she remained at a healthy level throughout each concert.

Paris Hilton was one of the ones who accidentally blabbed Aguilera's pregnancy - but Christina says that it was never a secret that was purposely kept under wraps.

"People thought I was trying to keep it this big, bad secret, and that's not the case at all.  I just wasn't commenting.  I'm not being like, 'Hey everybody, I'm pregnant!'  I'm not that girl."

The issue hits stands December 11th.  Duh, we report early, that's why you're here, right?
