Nicole Ritchie, Courtney-Thorne Smith Deliver Babies, Aguilera Has...A Rumor?  Saturday, January 12th, 2008

We stand corrected (although we did say it was a rumor)!  We reported yesterday that Nicole Ritchie & Joel Madden, and Christina Aguilera & Jordan Bratman were all in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center preparing for their new bundles of joy.

Nicole Ritchie, alongside her fiance Joel Madden (band member of Good Charlotte), welcomed their new baby girl yesterday!  Her name is Harlow Winter Kate Madden.  She was 6 lbs, 11 oz (tiny just like her mama!), and is doing well.

Ritchie's publicist told People, "The beautiful healthy baby girl left the hospital with her ecstatic parents."  Did she leave a bouquet for Christina?  Wow, that was fast - remember when moms took a week or so in the hospital to recover?  Nicole was in and out, same day.  Maybe she hired her own nurses.

Congrats, Nic!  Hopefully she'll teach her daughter some antifur fashion.

Strangely, there were two other famous mom's-to-be at Cedar's Sinai, too, besides Ritchie and Christina Aguilera!  Was L.A. serving some sort of soup yesterday?





Actress Courtney Thorne-Smith, 40, had her first baby yesterday morning, after 12 hours in labor.  She and hubby Roger Fisherman had a son, Jacob 'Jake' Emerson, who was 6 lbs., 13 oz.  He was almost two weeks late.  They didn't find out the sex of the baby until birth. 



Actor/comedian David Alan Grier and his wife, Luisa Danbi Grier-Kim, had a daughter at Cedars-Sinai yesterday afternoon, by planned C-section, though.  7 lbs., 6 oz.

Meanwhile, US Weekly claims that Aguilera's rep contacted them and said "She is still pregnant...she is not in labor," despite numerous reports that Aguilera texted friends around 4 pm yesterday, "Baby has arrived.  Mom and Dad are doing well."

Is this going to be another case where the rep Pic from Celebrity-Babies.com                      later claims she didn't know about it?  Or are 
                                                   they being purposefully and typically confusing? 
Keep in mind, Aguilera's rep denied she was pregnant until it was undeniable.
