Adrianne Curry Poses For Playboy, Thanks...TMZ?

Adrianne Curry is the face (and bod, of course) on the cover of the January 2008 Playboy Magazine's Holiday Anniversary Issue.  I still haven't made up my mind on Ms. Adrianne.  Adrianne!  Sorry, Rocky moment.  Curry has spoken out about many things in the past on her blog, and in September got people m-a-d when she called for a boycott of BET and Black History month from her MySpace page.

She said she was just trying to end racism; later she recanted the statements and said she was misunderstood.  Adrianne's spoken out about body image, modeling, marijuana, health care, and politics (in November she was going out "partying" at clubs sporting an Obama '08 t-shirt, and was urging reporters to vote for "my man...Obama").

Anywhoo, she's also spewed off in the past about TMZ (who hasn't?). However, in synch with the release of her Playboy appearance and just days from the return of My Fair Brady, Adrianne is making amends with the entertainment gossip site.  (Hey, I'm allowed to speculate...I told you I'm not sure about her yet.)

"I really hope someone at TMZ reads this.  I always though TMZ was only out for blood and to rip apart the lives of others (Perez (black hearted) Hilton) [double ditto ].  I was wrong.  TMZ ran a story on me hosting New Year's Eve...I will be raising money for [cancer patient] Kathy Friday's huge medical bills by begging for donations in a big jar [at the event].

"TMZ, you brought attention to something that is very dear to me, and an incredibly good cause.  I am touched, warmed, and slightly emotional. (Yeah, you made me cry)  I apologize for saying you guys scare me and are as evel as Hitler," Adrianne wrote on her blog Thursday.

Perhaps she hasn't heard about their snipe at Jennifer Love Hewitt.  Or perhaps she did, and she really believes one semi-good deed outweighs all the rest.  Honey, hell is paved with good intentions.  And TMZ doesn't even have those.
