South Carolina, Nevada
Primaries Results
Sunday, January 20th, 2008

The weekend is winding down - and we had a fabulous one!
Filled with love, laughter, friends...and pomegranate martinis!! But, now, we're
back and we're serious and onto the primary
results for South Carolina and Nevada.
Reporting on the Nevada
caucuses results is just 3 percent away from being complete. The
Republican reporting is finished: Mitt Romney
came in first at 51%, Ron Paul was
second (the first time he's been in the top three - he's shooting up
there!) at 14%, John McCain third at
13%, Mike Huckabee
and Fred Thompson tied for fourth at
8%, Giuliani at
4%.
With 98% of the Democrats reporting in
Nevada: Hillary Clinton took the lead at
51%, Barack Obama second at
45%, John Edwards third at a distant
4%, Uncommitted 0%, Kucinich
0%.
For South Carolina, the Democratic primary is not
until January 26th, but 97% of the Republican votes are in, with
McCain at 33%,
Huckabee at 30%,
Thompson at 16%,
Romney at 15%, Paul
at 4%, Giuliani at
2%.
We're liking Nevada - are you? They're not
fooled by John Edwards, Mike Huckabee, or Fred Thompson: the three
candidates that probably give us the worst creepy-crawlies. And
they love Ron Paul!
Edwards told
CNN's Wolf Blitzer of his devastating Nevada loss, "What happens in
Vegas stays in Vegas...I got my butt kicked. That
is what happened in Nevada."
But
really, regardless of which candidate is your fave: can we all
agree these elections are exciting? We are so excited for a change
in America! Let freedom ring!
Wait!
There's more! More
